Posted 22 March, 2021

Recordings of the IIRC’s 2020 Global Conference are now available to access online.

Catch up on:

  • over 100 international market leaders from more than 40 countries providing their insights on the past and future of integrated reporting
  • the latest plans for a holistic reporting system, including the IIRC’s intent to merge with SASB
  • discussions and practical workshops covering key topics such as crisis management, managing climate risk, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and using technology to enable integration.

The IIRC’s 2020 Global Conference was our first virtual conference and also coincided with our ten year anniversary celebrations. During the welcome address, IIRC CEO, Charles Tilley, and The Prince’s Accounting For Sustainability Executive Chair, Jessica Fries, shared their reflections on how far we have come and our strategy going forward.

Addressing the conference, the Global Chair of PwC, Bob Moritz, said:

“The world needs fundamental economic reform, and integrated reporting is crucial to delivering that. Better reporting doesn’t just measure sustainable value creation. It incentivizes sustainable value creation. Reporting does not just measure the system, it helps power it… [The] announcement by IIRC and SASB of their intent to merge is welcome news and a positive step forward in advancing the reporting agenda.”
