Angelien Kemna

Angelien Kemna is chief finance and risk officer at Dutch pensions management giant APG. She was appointed to the board of Railpen Investments in 2014, which runs the assets of the UK’s railway sector pension funds. Angelien Kemna joined APG as a Member of the Executive Board and Chief Investment Officer in November 2009.

From 2002 to July 2007 Kemna was CEO of ING Investment Management Europe. From 2001 to 2004, Angelien worked as global Chief Investment Officer. She also was a member of the ING Leadership Council. From 1992 to 2001, she served in various senior positions at Robeco Group. She also was part-time professor of Finance at Maastricht University from 1993 – 1999.

From 1988-1991 she was associate professor of Finance at Erasmus University Rotterdam. She was also visiting scholar at the Sloan School, MIT in 1985. Angelien holds a PhD in Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam (1988).
