Caroline Bridges

Technical Director, Connectivity and Integrated Reporting

Dr. Bridges is Technical Director, Connectivity and Integrated Reporting, a continuation of the role she held at the IIRC. She has been working towards the transition to a comprehensive corporate reporting system with other international frameworks and standard setters. Prior to this, she was a Lecturer at the University of Auckland, New Zealand teaching accounting from introductory level to Masters. She completed her PhD in 2019 on integrated reporting and has presented her research at a number of international conferences.

Dr. Bridges is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and CPA Australia and has had varied experience working as an accountant in New Zealand as well as the UK. She is passionate about improving the relevance of business reporting by producing concise, transparent and useful information for decision making.
