David Atkin

David is purpose driven and highly experienced senior executive who has managed risk effectively, while achieving outstanding transformational business results for clients, stakeholders and employees of the organisations that he has led as CEO in the pension industry in Australia or as a Non-Executive Director. He is well known for his ability to influence and negotiate across complex stakeholder groups to reinvent organisation. He has focused on building strategies and cultures that meet customer needs, achieve healthy and sustainable business growth and value creation. He is a global and national industry strategist and advisor, in the emerging and innovative drive for responsible investment. He has led teams overseeing best practice and real change, through implementation of long term and responsible investing across multiple asset classes.

As a thought leader, he is sought after for his expertise and advice in responsible investing and assisting companies and asset owners adopting integrated thinking and reporting, which focuses on how organisations identify materiality and use that knowledge to create long term sustainable value for their customers and other stakeholders.
