Masahiko Tezuka

Chairman and President

Masahiko Tezuka is the Chairman and President of the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA).

Before becoming the Chairman and President of JICPA in July 2019, he served as a partner at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC (Deloitte Japan). He joined Deloitte Japan in 2007. Prior to joining Deloitte Japan, he was the Deputy CEO of MISUZU Audit Corporation. At Deloitte Japan, he successively held the positions of Board of Directors, IFRS Advisory Group Leader, Integrated Reporting Advisory Leader as well as Managing Partner in charge of Industries at Clients & Industries.

He has had extensive experience in public accounting, auditing, and due diligence for major corporations based in Japan, including Oil & Gas, Steel, Process, Consumer Products and Retail. He was a lead client service partner (LCSP) for several key audit and advisory clients at Deloitte Japan.

He also served as Executive Board Member at JICPA, with proven records of contributions in areas of Auditing and Assurance Practice / Information Technology.

Masahiko Tezuka graduated from the School of Economics of The University of Tokyo.
