Nandita Mishra

Dr Nandita Mishra has been a researcher and academic for over 19 years in the fields of finance & accounting, corporate governance, sustainability and integrated reporting. She is Associate Professor of accounting and finance, currently working with Amity University Uttar Pradesh, India, and was awarded most innovative faculty in 2019 by the Center for Education Growth and Research. She is a Cost and Management Accountant by profession with a doctorate in corporate governance. She also tutors PhD scholars & students of master degree based out in India and abroad.

She has published over 65 research papers in national and international journals, made contributions in over 15 books on accounting and finance, and has chaired many international conferences and been a keynote speaker in many. Apart from her academic role she has been a consultant to various enterprises in the field of finance reporting and taxation. She has successfully completed three government funded projects on sustainable development, livelihood creation and uplifting society. She has supported implementation of various government policies like GST (goods and service tax) under the Ministry of Finance – the biggest tax reform in history of independent India, distance education programs under Ministry of Human Resource Development, women entrepreneurship under Startup India initiative. She is an avid writer for Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Company Secretaries and Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Currently, she is researching the fine tuning of current government policies on renewable energy, forward looking narrative reporting and integrated reporting.
