Paul Simpson is a co-founder and CEO of CDP. Established in 2000, CDP is an independent non-profit organisation that works with market forces, including 822 institutional investors with assets of US$95 trillion, to motivate companies and cities to disclose their impacts on the environment and natural resources and take action to reduce them.

Paul is a prominent thought leader on climate change, natural resource protection and sustainable economies, and the roles of government, corporations and investment.
He sits on the advisory panel of Guardian Sustainable Business and the Global Stranded Assets Advisory Council for the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at Oxford University.

Prior to CDP, Paul worked with Chesham Amalgamations & Investments Ltd, the International Society for Ecology & Culture and is a former director of the Social Venture Network.
Paul holds a BSc in Business and Finance from City University, London and an MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice at the University of Bath (with distinction).
